Spicy By Nature

A nice Little nondescript Indian restaurant on a posh road with good food and fantastic service. We tried the place for lunch. It's around 8 min walk from Ekkamai BTS. The food: Food was quite good. We ordered Paneer tikka for starter, butter chicken, Goan fish curry and Veg biryani for mains and Qulfi and Gulab jamun for dessert. Also ordered bread basket. Paneer tikka was the best, juicy and fresh, followed by butter chicken. Goan fish curry was OK, they should have used a bit softer fish while Veg Biryani was v spicy even with Raita. Bread basket had Garlic naan, plain naan and Tandoori roti. Naans were OK but Roti was hard. Portions of food were generous and we couldn't finish all. Among desserts Qulfi was nice while Gulab jamun had harder core (guthli) in it. Special.mention of chutneys they served green, red and Mango chutney was really nice. Service: Service was quick and efficient. Owner himself was around and chatted a bit and also showed us the place. He also showed the halal certificate of the supplier, appreciate him making effort to make customers comfortable. It's always good to have owner around as it greatly improves service quality. Staff was very friendly. Price: Heavy lunch for 4 costed 2400+ baht. Not too pricey and good value for money.

Spicy by Nature lives up to its name. All food was authentic and no holding back on spice & chili. The spiciness level is slightly higher than other Indian restaurants I used to had in Sukhumvit area. They also offer great deal of lunch plate that you can try many menu in small portion.

Another good Indian restaurant in town serving food in suitable portion with good service. The staff well informed the detail of each menu. The samosa is good. The taste is quite similar to Kari pup Butter chicken is good taste and smell Mutton is ok, not too weird for us The 3 sauce is good for everything The price is quite high

Great Indian food. Chicken Tikka, nanns, curries were all amazing. Service was all good and conveniently located. Prices are good too. Will be back again.

An Indian restaurant with incredibly delicious food. Both the Garlic Naan and Paneer Butter Masala are absolutely excellent.

One of the finest places in terms of taste, ambience, and price. The staff and owner are extremely polite and helpful — they even helped us with Thai Baht when we didn’t have any cash on us. Truly a heartwarming experience!

Spicy by Nature is a full-on flavor riot. The butter chicken? So dangerously good it deserves its own fan club. The roti? Fresh from a real roti oven—soft, warm, and way too easy to demolish. The spices? Straight-up fireworks in every bite. Service is superb, with staff who actually listen (rare gem in Bangkok!), and the quaint atmosphere makes it feel like your own little foodie hideout.Their salted lassi is sssoo refreshing—it cools you down just enough to dive back in for more. Best flavor I’ve hit in Bangkok so far…new found fave here in Bkk! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
